Absolutely! A portion of the course is dirt, so be prepared for a little “off-roading.”

Nope! You can run, walk, or skip the course entirely! Your registration fee provides entry to our Community Expo, hot breakfast served by Whole Foods Market, and access to our complimentary Beer Garden (over 21 years only) sponsored by Oskar Blues. There is plenty of fun stuff to keep you and your family busy all morning long, even if you skip the race course!

Reservoir staff will direct you to the appropriate parking area on race day, parking is free for Doggie Dash participants. Please arrive early to allow time to make it to the start line before we start!

Friends, family, your canine companion (if they’d be up for it!), poo bags for your canine friend, a reusable/refillable water bottle, sunglasses, sunscreen, sneakers, your ID (for the Beer Garden!). You will be able to return to your car for anything you have left there during the race, like a picnic blanket or snacks (no pups in hot cars, please!). Please note, Boulder Reservoir and HSBV are not responsible for valuables left in cars.

There are no lockers or storage areas at the Reservoir. Please leave valuables at home, but do remember that you will need your ID to enter the beer garden!
